If you would prefer not to cook for yourself, highly regarded, you can choose to eat in the Coast restaurant, or venture into the heart of Douglas to sample the local eateries. Each suite features a double bed, and above all, one sofa-bed and a fully-equipped kitchen.

Area information

The Isle of Man is located in the Irish Sea between Liverpool and Dublin. The hotel also backs onto the main shopping street.

Travel information

You can get to the Isle of Man by air and sea. Flights depart from all the major UK airports including London Gatwick, London City, Birmingham, Manchester, Glasgow and many others. Ferries are provided by The Isle of Man Steam Packet. The Town House is located on Douglas sea front in the first terrace of Victorian buildings beside The Claremont and Coast. It is a very easy 5 minute walk from the Ferry terminal and a 30 minute taxi ride from the airport.

Hotel policies

Cancellation Policy

If cancelled up to 2 days before date of arrival, no fee will be charged.  If cancelled later or in case of no-show, the total price of the reservation will be charged. 

Deposit Policy

No deposit will be charged. 

VAT and city/tourist taxes

15 % VAT is included.  Service charge is not applicable.  City/tourist tax is not applicable. 

Meal Plan

Continental breakfast costs GBP 5.00 per person.  Full English breakfast costs GBP 12.00 per person.  Buffet breakfast costs GBP 6.00 per person. 

Children and Extra Bed Policy

All children are welcome.  All children under 12 years stay free of charge when using existing bedding.  All children under 2 years stay free of charge for cots.  Maximum capacity of extra beds in a room is 2.  Maximum capacity of babycots in a room is 1.
