Hotel details

This hotel derives its name (literally: the deer’s leap) from an event from the past, when a deer being hunted by knights, made its leap for freedom into the valley. The hotel was built in 1952 at this wonderful location near the Berlebeck mineral springs, and was reopened in 2004 after an extensive renovation.

Food & Beverages

In addition to the fine selection of regional and international delicacies available in the hotel restaurant, you may feast on delicious home-made pastries and cakes in the afternoon. In good weather you may of course enjoy this from the comfort of the hotel terrace.

Cancellation Policy

If cancelled or modified up to 18:00 on the date of arrival, no fee will be charged.  If cancelled or modified later, 80 percent of the first night will be charged.  In case of no-show, the first night will be charged. 

Deposit Policy

No deposit will be charged. 

VAT and city/tourist taxes

19 % VAT is included.  Service charge is not applicable.  City/tourist tax is included. 

Meal Plan

Buffet breakfast is included in the room rate. 

Children and Extra Bed Policy

All children are welcome.  All children under 6 years stay free of charge when using existing bedding.  All children under 2 years stay free of charge for cots.  All older children or adults are charged EUR 35.00 per night and person for extra beds.  Maximum capacity of extra beds in a room is 2.  Maximum capacity of babycots in a room is 1.
