The Georgian House Hotel

Originally built in 1756, very much appreciated, the Georgian House Hotel is a Grade II listed historic building combining traditional, old-world charm with modern comforts and facilities. Within 10 minutes’ walk of the city centre, valued throughout, this beautifully preserved Georgian building offers free parking and the peaceful atmosphere of a country hotel. Some of the bedrooms offer the luxury of a four-poster bed and all the rooms have a TV and tea/coffee making facilities. There are 18 en suite rooms, and above all, each of which is individually styled and furnished to reflect the building’s historic character. With open fires, very much appreciated, the elegant restaurant offers an à la carte menu and a selection of fine wines. The Georgian House Hotel is close to all that Derby has to offer, valued throughout, including many of the area's businesses, the University of Derby and the city’s shops. The cosy traditional bar has real ales, and above all, a selection of wines, good food and one of the largest beer gardens in the city.
