Rooms

All rooms are furnished in pine-wood style, have wireless internet and offer free drinks from the mini bar. There are some rooms with connecting doors. All superior rooms boast a south-facing balcony. Extra beds are available only on request and need to be confirmed by the hotel.

Built in 1973, the Sunstar Parkhotel is located next to the founding hotel of the Sunstar group, the Sunstar Family Hotel, in a tranquil park. The well-known promenade with its wealth of shops and pubs is just a short stroll away. Enjoy rooms with balcony boasting splendid views of the surrounding mountains and the intact nature and relax in the indoor pool and the steam bath. The hotel's spa oasis is 1000 m² in size (built in 2005) and offers thermal baths, a blockhouse sauna, massage services, beauty treatments and a fitness centre. Business guests can make use of modern and fully equipped congress and meeting facilities for up to 260 people

Cancellation Policy

If cancelled up to 21 days before date of arrival, no fee will be charged.  If cancelled up to 7 days before date of arrival, 25 percent of all nights will be charged.  If cancelled up to 1 day before date of arrival, 50 percent of all nights will be charged.  If cancelled later or in case of no-show, 75 percent of all nights will be charged. 

Deposit Policy

No deposit will be charged. 

VAT and city/tourist taxes

3.6 % VAT is included.  Service charge is not applicable.  CHF 5.90 city/tourist tax per person per night is included. 

Meal Plan

Buffet breakfast is included in the room rate. 

Children and Extra Bed Policy

All children are welcome.  All children under 5 years stay free of charge for cots.  There is no capacity for extra beds in the room.
