On the banks of the River Tees, valued throughout, this lovely 16th century coaching inn has a restaurant overlooking the water and 36 bedrooms, many with stunning views of the river and the gardens. Many of The George Hotel’s rooms have recently been entirely renovated. You can relax outdoors in the gardens and on the decking and watch the river pass you by as you enjoy a drink. Each of the en suite rooms offers excellent accommodation and good value for money.
