There are 8 rooms in total, including 3 rooms with a double bed and a single bed, one single room, one double room, 2 further twin rooms and a family room. All rooms are en suite; 7 have a bath and a shower and one of the twin rooms only has a shower.

There is plenty of free off-road parking available, as well as secure bicycle storage, ideal for those visiting the area to experience the 7Stanes mountain bike trail in nearby Dalbeattie Forest.

Food & Beverages

The first floor lounge bar offers a quiet area for drinks, teas, coffees and snacks. Located on the first floor of the hotel, Wilburs Restaurant offers good home-cooked food and excellent value for money. The ground floor bar is a lively meeting place, which is popular with local people, as well as with hotel guests. The hotel is fully licensed and the bar offers quality beers, lagers, wines, spirits and cask real ale. A range of cocktails is available and a selection of interesting continental beers is also on offer. As well as lively conversation, the bar has a jukebox, a pool table, a quiz and fruit machines. The bar has a wide-screen TV with Sky Sports and Setanta Sports channels.

Cancellation Policy

If cancelled up to 1 day before the date of arrival, no fee will be charged.  If cancelled later or in case of no-show, the total price of the reservation will be charged.

No deposit will be charged. 

VAT and city/tourist taxes

15 % VAT is included.  Service charge is not applicable.  City/tourist tax is not applicable.

Breakfast is included in the room rate. 

Children and Extra Bed Policy

All children are welcome.  All children under 3 years stay free of charge when using existing bedding.  All children under 2 years are charged GBP 2.50 per night and person for cots.  All older children or adults are charged GBP 15.00 per night and person for extra beds.  Maximum capacity of extra beds/babycots in a room is 1.
