Area information

Recently we have built a game reserve next to the hotel and directly behind the woodland slope, where the hiking trails lead to some beautiful walks. There is also lots to discover in the village, such as some beautiful and romantic walks around the Gablenz ponds, where there is a small park which used to belong to the manor. Our surroundings are also well-suited to bicycle tours. You can ride across the Pleißental valley to Blankenheim, to the Blankenheim Palace museum or towards the Moselle River through the Mülsen region.

Hotel policies

Cancellation Policy

If cancelled or modified up to 1 day before the date of arrival, no fee will be charged.  If cancelled or modified later or in case of no-show, 80 percent of all nights will be charged. 

Deposit Policy

No deposit will be charged. 

VAT and city/tourist taxes

19 % VAT is included.  Service charge is not applicable.  City/tourist tax is not applicable. 

Meal Plan

Buffet breakfast is included in the room rate.  Half board costs EUR 15.00 per person. 

Children and Extra Bed Policy

All children are welcome.  All children under 4 years stay free of charge when using existing bedding.  All children under 2 years are charged EUR 8.00 per night and person for cots.  All older children or adults are charged EUR 15.00 per night and person for extra beds.  Maximum capacity of extra beds in a room is 1.  Maximum capacity of babycots in a room is 2.
