The stylish Greenhouse Restaurant is situated adjacent to the historic cellar and carefully built around a 300-year old oak tree. It combines efficient and attentive service with fine dining. The sommelier will be on hand to assist with the perfect wine to compliment your menu choice, from our extensive wine list. The Cape Malay Restaurant is the brainchild of Liz McGrath who decided to showcase the Western Cape's unique cuisine to both local and international visitors. The rustic colours and authentic Cape Malay cuisine create a unique and exciting dining experience. The chic Martini bar is the place to be and be seen, with guests indulging in the signature drink, The Martini. There are 152 varieties on the menu, making this one of the world’s longest Martini menus.

Travel information

By Car (from Cape Town International Airport): - Travel on the N2 motorway towards Cape Town and take the turn-off to Muizenberg, M3, to the left. - Continue along the M3 (Edinburgh Drive) past the suburbs of Claremont, Bishop's Court and Wynberg. Take exit 14 off the M3. - Turn left at the intersection, travelling under the bridge. - At the 2nd set of traffic lights, turn right into Brommersvlei Road. - The entrance to the hotel will be on the left, 2.5 km down Brommersvlei Road.

Hotel policies

Cancellation Policy

If cancelled up to 30 days before date of arrival, no fee will be charged.  If cancelled later or in case of no-show, the total price of the reservation will be charged. 

Deposit Policy

The total price of the reservation will be charged at least 30 days prior to arrival and is non-refundable. 

VAT and city/tourist taxes

14 % VAT is included.  Service charge is not applicable.  1 % city/tourist tax per person per night is included. 

Meal Plan

Breakfast is included in the room rate. 

Children and Extra Bed Policy

Children older than 12 years are welcome.  All children or adults are charged 100 % of the room stay per night when using existing bedding.  There is no capacity for extra beds/cots in the room.  

Please note that in case specific policies apply to a particular room or rate, the specific room/rate policy prevails over the general hotel policy
