Hotel details

The family-run Ringhotel Stadt Coburg dates back over 100 years to 1905, when it first opened as a bottled beer establishment and tavern named Zur Stadt Coburg. In the course of the next several years, the building was expanded to accommodate several guest rooms and the hotel took its present form. Guests at the Ringhotel Stadt Coburg can enjoy a relaxing time in the hotel’s Finnish sauna and solarium before retiring to the peaceful and comfortably furnished rooms. Two rooms are also available for family-parties, business seminars and groups from 10 to 50 people.

The Backstüble is the Ringhotel Stadt Coburg’s traditional style restaurant. The Backstüble’s wonderful baking oven with open grill is the centrepiece of the room, and adds to the ambience and traditional atmosphere of the restaurant. Diners at the Backstüble can choose from a selection of dishes from regional Franconian specialities to international cuisine. During summer months, diners can enjoy their meal on the restaurant’s large patio. The Backstüble restaurant is open from Monday to Saturday, from 10:00 to 24:00. The restaurant is closed on Sundays.

If cancelled up to 18:00 on the date of arrival, no fee will be charged.  If cancelled later, 80 percent of the first night will be charged.  In case of no-show, the total price of the reservation will be charged.

No deposit will be charged. 

VAT and city/tourist taxes

19 % VAT is included.  Service charge is included.  City/tourist tax is not applicable. 

Meal Plan

Buffet breakfast is included in the room rate.
