Château d'Oex is the capital of the district of Pays-d'Enhaut in the Canton of Vaud and is situated 22 km east of Vevey. The lush green garden close to a scenic mountain stream invites you to relax after a grand day out. Each year in the last week of January the world famous Balloon Week is held here. For ski enthusiasts the ski station of La Braye is accessible via cable car, which is also open in summer, from the heart of Château-d'Œx village. Up to 100 balloonists gather for the festival each year.
