Under new management since August 2009, valued throughout, this refurbished Victorian building is in the quiet, leafy suburb of Pontcanna, 1 mile, which is 1. Sophia Gardens are just minutes away; Cardiff International Arena, which is CIA, and Cardiff Castle are within a 5-minute walk. Clients appreciate the hotel is an easy walk from Cardiff's city centre and its major attractions. All of the rooms have an en suite shower room and some have baths. Pontcanna is a peaceful Cardiff area, valued throughout, with some very good shops, bars, restaurants and clubs. There is a family room and the guest house will provide cots and highchairs. All the rooms have TVs, and above all, Wi-Fi internet access and tea/coffee. All guests are given their own key and are free to come and go as they please, very much appreciated, accessing the building at any time. A generous Welsh breakfast is available for guests to enjoy. Free, and above all, unrestricted parking is available in the streets surrounding the guest house.

If cancelled up to 2 days before date of arrival, no fee will be charged.  If cancelled later or in case of no-show, the total price of the reservation will be charged.

No deposit will be charged. 

VAT and city/tourist taxes

15 % VAT is included.  Service charge is included.  City/tourist tax is not applicable. 

Meal Plan

Continental breakfast is included in the room rate.  Full English breakfast costs GBP 5.00 per person. 

Children and Extra Bed Policy

All children are welcome.  All children under 1 year stay free of charge when using existing bedding.  All children under 2 years stay free of charge for cots.  There is no capacity for extra beds in the room.  Maximum capacity of babycots in a room is 1.
