Area information

The world-famous island of Capri is filled with amazing attractions, including: Piazza Umberto or Piazzetta, the place where locals and visitors come to relax, socialize and enjoy leisurely walks. You can dine at a typical trattoria or simply sit down and admire the liveliness of this renowned spot. Grotta Azurra, or Blue Cave, is the must-see attraction of the island. Going through the cave on a fascinating boat ride, you can admire its gentle natural light reflected on very blue waters. Villa Jovis, located 365 metres above sea level on top of Mount Tiberio, is the largest and most beautiful ancient Roman villa in Capri. Mount Solaro, the highest point of Capri at 588 metres above sea level, can be reached with a chairlift departing from Piazza della Vittoria. The ancient Roman Gardens of Augustus, which offer marvellous views of the sea, the jagged coastal cliffs and Mount Solaro.
