Travel information

By Car: - Drive towards Kaapstad/Cape Town city centre, either on the N2 motorway from Cape Town international airport or the N1 from Paarl or Stellenbosch. - At the entrance to the city you will see Cape Town International Convention Centre, the CTICC, on your left-hand side. - At the 1st set of traffic lights, head for Coen Stytler Avenue/VA Waterfront. - Follow the flow of traffic along the main road: Buitengracht Street. - At the 3rd set of traffic lights, take a right into Somerset Road/Main Road in Green Point. - Then follow the flow of traffic and cross another 3 sets of traffic lights. - Approximately 1 km ahead, take a left into Vesperdene Road. - Follow this road, which slopes gently upwards. - After 200 metres you will see the elegant Cape Diem Lodge on the left. - Upon arrival, please drive up to the front door and ring the bell.

Hotel policies

Cancellation Policy

If cancelled up to 45 days before date of arrival, no fee will be charged.  If cancelled up to 30 days before date of arrival, 50 percent of all nights will be charged.  If cancelled up to 15 days before date of arrival, 75 percent of all nights will be charged.  If cancelled later or in case of no-show, the total price of the reservation will be charged. 

Deposit Policy

No deposit will be charged. 

VAT and city/tourist taxes

14 % VAT is included.  Service charge is not applicable.  City/tourist tax is not applicable. 

Meal Plan

Buffet breakfast is included in the room rate. 

Children and Extra Bed Policy

Children older than 12 years are welcome.  All children from 12 to 15 years stay free of charge when using existing bedding.  All children from 16 to 17 years are charged 100 % of the room stay per night and person for extra beds.  Maximum capacity of extra beds in a room is 1.
