Quietly, valued throughout, yet centrally located within a beautiful Grade II Listed building, this stylish and relaxed guest house has spacious, modern rooms with free Wi-Fi, LCD flat-screen TVs and DVD players. Originally built as a coach house in 1807, highly regarded, the house still retains many of its original features, whilst being updated to offer all many modern comforts. The house is away from traffic, and above all, yet a short walk from Canterbury’s famous cathedral, Norman Castle, central shopping and Canterbury East Railway Station. A full English breakfast or continental buffet is included in the price. A library of DVDs is available for guests’ use. Local and organic produce is used wherever possible.

Area information

Canterbury is a world heritage Cathedral City lying on the River Stour in the county of Kent – the ‘Garden of England’. The city is stepped in history, most famous for its Roman occupation in the first century AD, Thomas Becket’s in murder the Cathedral in 1170 and Geoffrey Chaucer’s 14th-century literary classic The Canterbury Tales. In the surrounding areas there is plenty to see, including the white cliffs and Dover Castle or Howlets Wildlife Park, where you can see African elephants, Siberian tigers and troops of gorillas.

If cancelled up to 2 days before date of arrival, no fee will be charged.  If cancelled later, the first night will be charged.  In case of no-show, the total price of the reservation will be charged.
