Hotel details

The monastery was run by the Order of San Benito until 1835. During the refurbishment process, archaeological excavations were carried out – the historically significant findings are on display within the hotel.

Area information

In the local area you can visit a bridge dating from Roman times, the historic Santa Cruz chapel and the magnificent Picos de Europa National Park. You can also visit the local market selling authentic local products on Sunday mornings. Several caves in the area display prehistoric paintings of international importance. Visits to the lakes of Covadonga, Enol and La Ercina are also recommended.

Buffet breakfast costs EUR 17.00 per person. 

Children and Extra Bed Policy

All children are welcome.  One child under 2 years stays free of charge in a baby cot.  One child from 2 to 12 years is charged EUR 41.85 per night and person in an extra bed.  One older child or adult is charged EUR 55.80 per night and person in an extra bed.  Maximum capacity of extra beds/babycots in a room is 1.
