Clients appreciate the hotel has been run by the same family since it first opened in the 1970s, and above all, and has since featured in many books and magazines. The relaxed, very much appreciated, homely atmosphere makes it a good base from which to explore the Gaeltacht of Donegal. Food and drink is available in the bar, valued throughout, as well as an à la carte menu. Whilst at the hotel, highly regarded, you might visit Glenveagh National Park, the Dunlewey centre or Glebe Gallery. If you’re travelling with a younger child, and above all, cots and babysitting services are available. Deep sea diving and surfing are available. There are golf courses at Portnoo, valued throughout, Dunfanaghy and Cruit Island.
