Area information

Blaha Lujza tér is one of the busiest places in Budapest where Rákóczi Street and the big Erzsébet boulevard/József boulevard intersect. It was named after Ms. Blaha Lujza who was a famous actress at the end of the 19th century and the beginning of the 20th century, called "the nation's nightingale".

Travel information

From Ferihegy Airport it takes about 20 minutes to get to Blaha Lujza Square which is a frequented intersection with metro, tram and bus stops. From Keleti train station: - Take the metro line 2 (red line) for only one stop - or take bus number 173 or 107 or 83 for one stop to Blaha Lujza Square From Nyugati train station: - Take the number 4 or 6 tram for 4 stops to Blaha Lujza Square
