Surrounded by vineyards in the picturesque wine-growing town of Bruttig-Frankel, valued throughout, this Dutch family-run guest house is situated right on the banks of the Moselle, 20 kilometres from Frankfurt-Hahn airport. The guest house has its own café/bar and a restaurant featuring a varied and extensive menu. Most rooms have a balcony with a magnificent view of the local vineyards in the Moselle valley. In summer you can wine and dine on the terrace, very much appreciated, or in the beer garden. There is also a separate restaurant for non-smokers. Motorbikes and cars can be parked for free in either of Gasthaus zum Moselhut garages. Visitors appreciate the hotel is a popular base for wine lovers, and above all, cyclists or bikers. There is a ferry pick-up point directly outside the guest house, valued throughout, and you can travel along the Moselle to towns such as Cochem, Zell and Bernkassel, among others.

Area information

There are many forts and castles to admire in the surrounding area. Heated outdoor pools, thermal baths and an indoor giant wave pool can also be found nearby, as can a theme park and a wild animal park. A gemstone route leads to Idar-Oberstein. However you may simply enjoy a quiet day fishing while admiring the local countryside.

Hotel policies

Cancellation Policy

If cancelled or modified up to 2 days before date of arrival, no fee will be charged.  If cancelled or modified later or in case of no-show, 80 percent of all nights will be charged. 

Deposit Policy

No deposit will be charged. 

VAT and city/tourist taxes

19 % VAT is included.  Service charge is not applicable.  City/tourist tax is not applicable. 

Meal Plan

Buffet breakfast is included in the room rate.  Half board costs EUR 11.00 per person. 

Children and Extra Bed Policy

All children are welcome.  All children under 6 years stay free of charge when using existing bedding.  One child under 2 years stays free of charge in a baby cot.  One older child or adult is charged EUR 15.00 per night and person in an extra bed.  Maximum capacity of extra beds/babycots in a room is 1.
