Rooms

All of the rooms at the Cottage Lodge are en suite but not all of them have both bath and shower. Please mention if you have a preference and want either a bath or shower, the Lodge will do their best to help if possible. All rooms have TV with either video or DVD player. There is a film library in the dining room.

In November 2008 Cottage Lodge was a finalist for 3 awards: - Best Bed and Breakfast in the South East (Tourism South East). - Outstanding Service (Brilliance in Business). - Most Responsible Small Accommodation Provider in the World (The Telegraph newspaper). A hotel until 2006, Cottage Lodge is now the best B&B in the New Forest (The Guardian newspaper, 2007). Cottage Lodge is based in the thriving New Forest village of Brockenhurst, so you may experience a little noise. However, this does mean you are within just a few minutes’ walk of all of the town’s amenities. Brockenhurst is one of 3 New Forest villages where the ponies, cattle, donkeys and even pigs can wander freely around the village. They can sometimes be seen on the little green opposite Cottage Lodge.

Food & Beverages

A locally sourced New Forest breakfast is served from 08:15 to 10:00, at an additional cost.

Check-in: Please note your expected arrival time in the guest comments when making your reservation. Reception is open from 08:00 to 20:30. You can check in at any time between these hours. If you check in after 20:30, Cottage Lodge will add additional costs to your bill. Noise: Please note that due to its location, you may experience a little village noise.

Wireless internet is available in public areas and is free of charge.

Free public parking is possible on site. 

Pets

Pets are allowed on request. No extra charges.

Hotel policies

Cancellation Policy

If cancelled up to 7 days before date of arrival, the first night will be charged.  If cancelled later or in case of no-show, the total price of the reservation will be charged. 

Deposit Policy

100 percent of the first night will be charged on the day of booking and is non-refundable. 

VAT and city/tourist taxes

15 % VAT is included.  Service charge is not applicable.  City/tourist tax is not applicable. 

Meal Plan

Full English breakfast is included in the room rate. 

Children and Extra Bed Policy

Children older than 10 years are welcome.  There is no capacity for extra beds/cots in the room.
