Braunlage is a pretty town in the Harz mountains, and has much to offer visitors all year round. Braunlage is the ideal base from which to explore the variety and beauty of the Harz mountains.Set at an altitude of between 600 and 1000 metres above sea level, it enjoys a particularly favourable and bracing climate. Winter sports enthusiasts will find a wide variety of cross-country routes and downhill ski slopes to suit all levels and abilities. Hikers will enjoy the well-signposted trails, regardless of whether they have set out on a day tour, or a short stroll. To make the most of your environment, the hotel offers the following services - toboggan hire - organisation of tours with a local ranger - organisation of guided mountain bike tours - accompanied motorbike tours Within one kilometre of the hotel are the following facilities: - indoor swimming pool (directly opposite) - spa centre and gardens (directly opposite) - Wurmberg mountain cable car, with scooter and quad hire - ice rink - downhill ski slopes and cross-country skiing and hiking trails

Hotel policies

Cancellation Policy

If cancelled or modified up to 2 days before date of arrival, no fee will be charged.  If cancelled or modified later, 80 percent of all nights will be charged.  In case of no-show, the total price of the reservation will be charged. 

Deposit Policy

No deposit will be charged. 

VAT and city/tourist taxes

19 % VAT is included.  Service charge is not applicable.  EUR 2.20 city/tourist tax per person per night is not included. 

Meal Plan

Breakfast is included in the room rate. 

Children and Extra Bed Policy

All children are welcome.  All children under 6 years stay free of charge when using existing bedding.  All children under 2 years stay free of charge for cots.  All children from 7 to 12 years are charged 50 % of the room stay per night and person for extra beds.  All children from 13 to 15 years are charged 75 % of the room stay per night and person for extra beds.  All older children or adults are charged 100 % of the room stay per night and person for extra beds.  Maximum capacity of extra beds in a room is 1.  Maximum capacity of babycots in a room is 2.
