The Colonnade Hotel opened in 1971 as an independent hotel in the heart of Boston's Back Bay. The Colonnade Hotel is home to Boston's most authentic brasserie, Brasserie JO. Under the culinary direction of world-renowned Chef Jean Joho, owner of the acclaimed Everest and Brasserie JO restaurants in Chicago and the Eiffel Tower Restaurant in Las Vegas, Brasserie JO has the style and cuisine of classic brasseries throughout France. Brasserie JO has three main spaces: a French bar, a main dining area with a 1940s look, and a unique "Winter Garden." In addition to breakfast, lunch, and dinner, the restaurant offers a late-night menu until midnight and serves brunch on weekends.

Upon check-in photo identification and credit card is required. All special requests are subject to availability upon check-in. Special requests cannot be guaranteed and may incur additional charges. Please note: Continental Breakfast-Included applies to a maximum of 2 guests per room.

The Colonnade Hotel is situated in the heart of Boston's Back Bay, an enclave of exclusive shops, galleries and restaurants. Symphony Hall, Fenway Park, Newbury Street's boutiques, Saks Fifth Avenue, Neiman Marcus, and Copley Square are all within easy walking distance. The Colonnade Hotel is only a short taxi ride away from the financial district, the Museum of Fine Arts, Faneuil Hall, Old North Church, and the Freedom Trail. If you are utilizing public transportation, the Prudential stop is directly outside our hotel.

Hotel policies

Cancellation Policy

If cancelled up to 1 day before the date of arrival, no fee will be charged.  If cancelled later or in case of no-show, the first night will be charged. 

Deposit Policy

No deposit will be charged. 

VAT and city/tourist taxes

14.45 % Tax is not included.  Service charge is included.  City/tourist tax is not applicable. 

Meal Plan

Breakfast is not included, breakfast menu is available and costs vary. 

Children and Extra Bed Policy

All children are welcome.  Up to three children under 18 years stay free of charge when using existing bedding.  One older child or adult is charged USD 30.00 per night when using existing bedding.  One older child or adult stays free of charge in an extra bed.  Maximum capacity of extra beds/babycots in a room is 1.
