We have no restaurant on-site but there are numerous great restaurants in the nearby old quarter, just a few minutes walk from the hotel. During the summer our guests can have breakfast or an evening drink on our cosy sun terrace with view of the romantic inner courtyard.

Wireless Internet Hotspot is available in the entire hotel and costs CHF 10.00 per hour.  Wired internet is available in the business centre and is free of charge.

Area information

There are a number of museums and galleries awaiting your visit. There is also the futuristic wavelike building created by the Italian architect Renzo Piano for the new Paul Klee Museum located before the gates of Bern.

Travel information

By car: Highway exit „Wankdorf“. Follow the signs “Zentrum” until you cross the bridge “Kornhausbrücke”. Right after the bridge, turn right and then take the first street on your left around the church. Nearby parking garages 1.) Rathaus Parking, Postgasshalde 2.) Bahnhof Parking, Parkterrasse Hauptbahnhof 3.) Metro-Autopark, Waisenhausplatz 4.) City West, Effingerstrasse 20 5.) Parking Casino, Kochergasse 1 By Train: Bern Central Station. Take the exit “Unterführung Neuengasse”. Keep straight on until you get to the square called „Waisenhausplatz“. Cross the square to get to the “Zeughausgasse”. You reach our hotel within 10 easy minutes on foot.

Hotel policies

Cancellation Policy

If cancelled up to 18:00 on the date of arrival, no fee will be charged.  If cancelled later or in case of no-show, the first night will be charged. 

Deposit Policy

No deposit will be charged. 

VAT and city/tourist taxes

3.6 % VAT is included.  Service charge is not applicable.  CHF 2.70 city/tourist tax per person per night is included. 

Meal Plan

Buffet breakfast is included in the room rate. 

Children and Extra Bed Policy

All children are welcome.  All children under 12 years stay free of charge when using existing bedding.  All children under 2 years stay free of charge for cots.  There is no capacity for extra beds in the room.  Maximum capacity of babycots in a room is 1.
