Rooms

The rooms are of architectural interest and the single rooms and dormitories offer a total of 140 beds, making it ideally suited to groups. There are showers and bathrooms on each floor of the youth hostel. A comprehensive breakfast buffet provides a good start to the day.

Hotel details

Our "Haus der Begegnung" ("House of Encounters") is spread over a large area of more than 23,000m². As well as the hotel and youth hostel, you will find here a popular restaurant, a kindergarten and two doctor's practices. In the former "House of the Gardener" you find a botanic nursery. In an annex there is a welfare centre and a mentoring organisation.

Hotel policies

Cancellation Policy

If cancelled or modified up to 2 days before date of arrival, no fee will be charged.  If cancelled or modified later or in case of no-show, 80 percent of all nights will be charged. 

Deposit Policy

No deposit will be charged. 

VAT and city/tourist taxes

19 % VAT is included.  Service charge is not applicable.  City/tourist tax is not applicable. 

Meal Plan

Buffet breakfast costs EUR 8.00 per person. 

Children and Extra Bed Policy

All children are welcome.  All children under 3 years stay free of charge when using existing bedding.  All children under 2 years are charged EUR 8.00 per stay for cots.  All children from 3 to 12 years are charged EUR 13.00 per night and person when using existing bedding.  Maximum capacity of extra beds/babycots in a room is 4.
