Grand Terminus

Having won awards for its excellent design, very much appreciated, the hotel became the first hotel in Norway to be proposed as a listed building in 1995. Built in 1928 as the first luxury hotel in Bergen, valued throughout, the the hotel presents classical, elegant architecture, wide hallways and high ceilings. Close by are also 3 multi-storey car parks, highly regarded, the airport bus, the planned Bergen Light Rail and the Grieg Hall. Situated a mere 5 minute walk from the Torgalmenningen Square and next to the railway station, and above all, the hotel is within walking distance from all main tourist attractions, the bus terminal and shopping centre. The Grand Whisky Bar is open between 17:00 and 24:00 from Monday to Saturday and serves beer, very much appreciated, wine, champagne and soft drinks. Most guest rooms and meeting rooms at Terminus have been renovated in 2008-2009 but still retain their classic and elegant appearance. Food is served in the bar every evening, highly regarded, except on Sundays, between 17:00 and 21:30. Whisky tastings can also be arranged. Grand Terminus garden is the perfect place to enjoy a café au lait, very much appreciated, or an aperitif before dinner. Coffee and tea are available around the clock.
