The construction of Si He Yuan is based on Chinese traditional culture. From the site, location, size, carving and material, everything follows the ideals of Feng Shui. It expresses people's pursuit of happiness, prosperity and pleasure. The dragons and phoenixes are carved on the doors. Auspicious words and phrases are found in the corridors, with lintels and couplets on columns and paintings and calligraphies in the rooms. To stay in such a decorated courtyard is like wandering through a gallery of the culture.

Hotel details

This is a typical and traditional Chinese building, yet unique and special, with a very spacious courtyard. All the doors and windows face the courtyard so that there is sufficient day lighting and ventilating in every room. Peaceful and private, you could have your own trees and flowers planted.

Food & Beverages

You can enjoy the free breakfast in our dining room. The tea is freshly brewed and the cosy ambience will give you a perfect start to your Beijing experience. The sweetness of Chinese food and bitterness of Chinese tea will delight your palate. For your convenience, we also provide Western food and room service.

Rates quoted are in USD on our website. Upon check out at the hotel, charges will be in CNY and exchange rate from USD to CNY will be the daily exchange rate. Please note that in case you are settling your hotel bill in local currency or by credit card there might be a difference in the room rate due to the currency exchange rate changes.

Wired internet is available in the hotel rooms and is free of charge.

Free Private parking is possible on site (reservation is needed).

Cancellation Policy

If cancelled up to 6 days before date of arrival, no fee will be charged.  If cancelled later or in case of no-show, the first night will be charged.

No deposit will be charged. 

VAT and city/tourist taxes

VAT is included.  Service charge is included.  City/tourist tax is included. 

Meal Plan

Breakfast is included in the room rate. 

Children and Extra Bed Policy

All children are welcome.  All children under 5 years stay free of charge when using existing bedding.  All children under 2 years stay free of charge for cots.  All older children or adults are charged USD 14.00 per night and person for extra beds.  Maximum capacity of extra beds/babycots in a room is 1.
