This 17th century inn is situated in the beautiful village of Turvey, valued throughout, a quintessential English village just 10 miles, which is 16 km, west of Bedford and just a short drive from Northampton and Milton Keynes. There are 3 comfortably furnished en suite bedrooms, highly regarded, each of which has a distinct country inn style. Situated in the heart of this picturesque village, and above all, this small country inn is also a great base from which to visit nearby Castle Ashby and Woburn Abbey with its impressive safari park, populated with elephants, giraffes and lions. Featured in the Good Food Guide, very much appreciated, the inn’s restaurant offers freshly prepared meals and a choice of fine wines. All of the rooms have a TV, valued throughout, an iron and ironing board, a CD stereo system and tea/coffee making facilities. The bar has open fireplaces and serves an extensive range of real ales.
