Area information

The village of Barbizon, adored by the Impressionists, is a fabulous place to explore with its unmissable museums including Millet and Auberge Ganne. The village is situated at the edge of the Fontainebleau forest which is ideal for jogging, rambling or climbing. The Châteaux de Fontainebleau, de Courances and de Vaux le Vicomte are all nearby.

The Fontainebleau-Avon railway station is 10km away. Guests are advised to then take a taxi.

If cancelled up to 2 days before date of arrival, no fee will be charged.  If cancelled later or in case of no-show, the first night will be charged.

No deposit will be charged. 

VAT and city/tourist taxes

5.5 % VAT is included.  Service charge is not applicable.  EUR 1.00 city/tourist tax per person per night is not included. 

Meal Plan

Continental breakfast costs EUR 21.00 per person.  Buffet breakfast costs EUR 25.00 per person.
