Area information

Located just minutes from Cape Town’s city centre, the Ambassador is just a stone’s throw from Clifton Beach and various shops and restaurants. Visit the famous V&A Waterfront or Kirstenbosch Botanical Garden. The hotel is the ideal base from which to explore the city’s many attractions.

Travel information

By car: - Arriving at Cape Town International Airport, follow the N2 in the direction of the city centre. - From Buitengracht Street, turn right onto Western Boulevard at the 2nd set of traffic lights. - Follow this route all the way to Beach Road. - Take the 2nd road to your right (Victoria Road). - The Ambassador is 300 metres down the road.

Hotel policies

Cancellation Policy

If cancelled up to 3 days before date of arrival, 10 percent of all nights will be charged.  If cancelled later or in case of no-show, the total price of the reservation will be charged. 

Deposit Policy

10 percent of the total amount will be charged on the day of booking and is non-refundable. 

VAT and city/tourist taxes

14 % VAT is included.  Service charge is not applicable.  1 % city/tourist tax per person per night is included. 

Meal Plan

Breakfast is included in the room rate. 

Children and Extra Bed Policy

All children are welcome.  One child under 2 years stays free of charge in a baby cot.  One child under 12 years is charged ZAR 350.00 per night and person in an extra bed.  Maximum capacity of extra beds/babycots in a room is 1.
