Travel information

Renting a car from Sofia for most tourists is considerably beneficial because of the flexibility. Buses run from Sofia and Blagoevgrad frequently during the winter (high season) and are the preferred method of travel for backpackers.

Area information

The town of Bansko is situated at the north- eastern foot of Pirin Mountain, right below the highest and most beautiful part of it. Bansko has become a favourite ski and snowboard destination, thanks to the excellent skiing facilities combined with a unique architecture and history.

Hotel policies

Cancellation Policy

If cancelled up to 5 days before date of arrival, no fee will be charged.  If cancelled later, the first night will be charged.  In case of no-show, the total price of the reservation will be charged. 

Deposit Policy

The total price of the reservation will be charged at least 7 days prior to arrival and is refundable. 

VAT and city/tourist taxes

20 % VAT is included.  Service charge is not applicable.  EUR 0.51 city/tourist tax per person per night is included. 

Meal Plan

Buffet breakfast is included in the room rate.  Lunch costs EUR 13.00 per person.  Dinner costs EUR 13.00 per person. 

Children and Extra Bed Policy

All children are welcome.  All children under 6 years stay free of charge when using existing bedding.  All children under 2 years stay free of charge for cots.  All older children or adults are charged 50 % of the room stay per night and person for extra beds.  Maximum capacity of extra beds/babycots in a room is 2.
