Area information

Bansko is considered to be the fastest developing ski resort in Europe and it is the most popular ski resort in Bulgaria. Situated about 160 km from the capital Sofia, Bansko has excellent winter conditions with a great snow cover from December until May. This charming little town will impress any skier who appreciates great slopes with modern infrastructure in breathtakingly beautiful surroundings. After the long winter season the resort changes into a wonderful summer destination offering walking, hiking, hunting, fishing, biking and climbing. With over 120 cultural and historic monuments in and around the town, including the world-famous Rila monastery, Bansko is also known for its authenticity and well-preserved traditions. The Pirin National Park, listed as a Natural World Heritage Site by the UNESCO, is situated south of the town. Pirin and the area abound in thermal springs, endemic plant species, waterfalls, caves, nature reserves, rocks and peaks, presenting excellent conditions for eco-tourism regardless of season.

Cancellation Policy

If cancelled up to 5 days before date of arrival, no fee will be charged.  If cancelled later or in case of no-show, the first night will be charged. 

Deposit Policy

No deposit will be charged. 

VAT and city/tourist taxes

20 % VAT is included.  Service charge is included.  City/tourist tax is included. 

Meal Plan

Buffet breakfast is included in the room rate.  Continental breakfast costs EUR 5.00 per person.  Full English breakfast costs EUR 5.00 per person.  American breakfast costs EUR 5.00 per person. 

Children and Extra Bed Policy

All children are welcome.  All children under 2 years stay free of charge for cots.  All children from 2 to 12 years stay free of charge for extra beds.  All older children or adults are charged EUR 20.00 per night and person for extra beds.  Maximum capacity of extra beds in a room is 2.  Maximum capacity of babycots in a room is 1.
