The Banff Park Lodge is an environmentally friendly hotel that offers a variety of "green" programs. From energy efficient light bulbs to the installation of a roof made of mostly recycled materials, the Banff Lodge is one of the first hotels to implement an environmental management system. In addition to their environmental programs, the hotel provides its guests with a number of modern and convenient facilities, including an on-site beauty salon, post office and banquet or meeting facilities.

Food & Beverages

The Banff Park Lodge offers guests the choice of two on-site restaurants, the Chinook Restaurant or the Terrace Dining Room & Lounge. The Terrace is a fine-dining restaurant serving a variety of elegant international and local cuisine as well as a large number of fine wines. For a more casual experience, there is the Chinook Restaurant, serving breakfast, lunch and dinner in a relaxed family atmosphere.

Upon check-in photo identification and credit card is required. All special requests are subject to availability upon check-in. Special requests cannot be guaranteed and may incur additional charges. Please Note: Rates are based on single/double occupancy, each additional person will be charged CAD 15 per night.

Internet

Wireless internet is available in the entire hotel and costs CAD 10.00 per hour. 

Parking

Public parking is possible on site and costs CAD 9.50 per day.  Private parking is possible on site and costs CAD 13.50 per day.

Pets are not allowed.

Hotel policies

Cancellation Policy

If cancelled up to 3 days before date of arrival, no fee will be charged.  If cancelled later or in case of no-show, the first night will be charged. 

Deposit Policy

No deposit will be charged. 

VAT and city/tourist taxes

9 % Tax is not included.  Service charge is not applicable.  2 % city/tourist tax per person per night is not included. 

Meal Plan

Breakfast is not included, breakfast menu is available and costs vary. 

Children and Extra Bed Policy

All children are welcome.  Up to three children under 15 years stay free of charge when using existing bedding.  All further older children or adults are charged CAD 10.00 per night for extra beds.  All further older children or adults are charged CAD 15.00 per night when using existing bedding.  One child under 2 years stays free of charge in a baby cot.  Maximum capacity of extra beds in a room is 1.

No special conditions apply for groups.
