Area information

Golfing lessons are available as well as a shuttle service to the Rittergut Rothenberger Haus golf course which is 18 km away. Resort guests receive a discount on green fees at this course. Take day trips to discover the towns of Goslar (62 km), Quedlinburg (66 km) and Werningerode (47 km). Visit the highest mountain in north Germany, the Brocken (22 km). Make the most of the excellent hiking and cycling trails in the surrounding area. Use the hotel's RoWi-Oldtimer bus to get to and from trails further afield. Guests benefit from special offers at the nearby riding stables. During the winter, you will find the ski and bobsledding centre just 2 km from the hotel. Visit the Zisterziensermuseum Kloster Walkenried - an old monastery which is now a museum on the history of the monastery and the middle ages. For a more recent historic experience, head to Pullman City II (37 km), the second town in Germany where you will enjoy a true Wild-West experience. Look forward to cowboy and Indian shows, caves, mines and more.

Hotel policies

Cancellation Policy

If cancelled or modified up to 18:00 on the date of arrival, no fee will be charged.  If cancelled or modified later or in case of no-show, 80 percent of all nights will be charged. 

Deposit Policy

No deposit will be charged. 

VAT and city/tourist taxes

19 % VAT is included.  Service charge is not applicable.  EUR 1.95 city/tourist tax per person older than 16 years per night is not included. 

Meal Plan

Buffet breakfast is included in the room rate. 

Children and Extra Bed Policy

All children are welcome.  All children under 2 years stay free of charge for cots.  All children under 7 years stay free of charge for extra beds.  All children from 7 to 14 years are charged EUR 23.50 per night and person for extra beds.  All older children or adults are charged EUR 73.50 per night and person for extra beds.  Maximum capacity of extra beds/babycots in a room is 1.
