The Waldschlösschen is located on the southern edge of the Naturpark Harz (Harz National Park). Popular attractions in the beautiful Naturpark Harz include the 1,141 metre high Brocken (mountain), and the 100 kilometre long Harzer Hexenstieg hiking trail. The rural location of the hotel invites guests to participate in a range of outdoor activities, such as hiking, cycling, skiing and ice-skating. Sightseeing options in the town of Bad Sachsa include the Heimatmuseum Bad Sascha (museum of local history), the NatUrzeitmuseum (fossil museum), and numerous fine examples of traditional half-timbered architecture.

Hotel policies

Cancellation Policy

If cancelled or modified up to 18:00 on the date of arrival, no fee will be charged.  If cancelled or modified later or in case of no-show, 80 percent of all nights will be charged. 

Deposit Policy

No deposit will be charged. 

VAT and city/tourist taxes

19 % VAT is included.  Service charge is not applicable.  EUR 1.95 city/tourist tax per person per night is not included. 

Meal Plan

Buffet breakfast is included in the room rate. 

Children and Extra Bed Policy

All children are welcome.  All children under 3 years stay free of charge when using existing bedding.  All children under 2 years stay free of charge for cots.  All older children or adults are charged EUR 5.00 per night and person for extra beds.  Maximum capacity of extra beds/babycots in a room is 1.
