Food & Beverages

Here you will find delicious Alpine cuisine as well as an international menu, available in many different languages. Our dishes are market-fresh and include much regional produce. There is great emphasis on healthy cuisine, using organic products and whole foods, suitable for a range of dietary needs. We have a non-smoking room and serve draught beers from local breweries as well as mineral water from the nearby source in Siegsdorf. Expect excellent wines and spirits as well as monthly cuisine highlights. You can also relax in our cosy beer garden under the shade of the chestnut trees or on our bright and sunny café terrace. Look forward to barbecue parties accompanied by live Bavarian music, open-air theatre productions in the Berchtesgaden barn theatre, home-made strudel specialities, hearty “Brotzeiten” (breads with cold cuts and cheeses), light salads and summer cuisine.

Our hotel is situated in a health resort in the Berchtesgadener Land, an area frequented by the aristocracy since hundreds of years due to its beautiful sweeping landscapes and healthy climate. Hotel policies

Cancellation Policy

If cancelled or modified up to 2 days before date of arrival, no fee will be charged.  If cancelled or modified later or in case of no-show, 80 percent of all nights will be charged. 

Deposit Policy

No deposit will be charged. 

VAT and city/tourist taxes

19 % VAT is included.  Service charge is not applicable.  EUR 3.00 city/tourist tax per person per night is included. 

Meal Plan

Buffet breakfast is included in the room rate. 

Children and Extra Bed Policy

All children are welcome.  All children under 4 years stay free of charge when using existing bedding.  All children under 2 years are charged EUR 5.00 per night and person for cots.  All older children or adults are charged EUR 18.00 per night and person for extra beds.  Maximum capacity of extra beds in a room is 1.  Maximum capacity of babycots in a room is 2.
