The LivingRoom Bar and Café serves fine wines, brandy and cocktails. Enjoy the best ambience at the heart of the city. Open from 12:00 to 22:00 The Salzkammergut’s best breakfast is served from 07:30 to 10:00. Late breakfast, brunch and lunch from 10:00 to 14:00 on weekends (brunches are available on weekends and public holidays and are not limited to hotel guests). The LivingRoom Restaurant is open for lunch from 11:30 to 14:00, and for dinner from 18:30 to 22:00. The Garden Restaurant at Daysha is a very private place for a candlelight dinner or a good glass of wine.

Area information

Set in Upper Austria's scenic Salzkammergut region, the picturesque spa town of Bad Ischl became famous as the longtime summer residence of Austrian Emperor Francis Joseph and his wife Sisi. The magnificent lakes and mountains surrounding the town were made famous in the 1965 film "The Sound of Music." With its graceful villas and gardens, Bad Ischl retains its imperial splendour; the imperial residence (Kaiservilla), still occupied by members of the emperor's family, is open for visits. Situated on a peninsula between the Traun and Ischl rivers, the town appeals to health-conscious guests of spas and health resorts, as well as lovers of the outdoors, architecture, history, art, and fine cuisine. Enjoy world-class skiing and hiking in the surrounding mountains, take in a concert at the Lehártheater, one of Austria's oldest theatres, savour a sweet temptation at the famous Zauner pastry shop, ride a ferry to explore the historic towns along beautiful Lake Wolfgang, or rejuvenate body and soul in the famous thermal baths.

Cancellation Policy

If cancelled up to 7 days before date of arrival, no fee will be charged.  If cancelled up to 3 days before date of arrival, 50 percent of all nights will be charged.  If cancelled up to 1 day before date of arrival, the total price of the reservation will be charged. 

Deposit Policy

No deposit will be charged. 

VAT and city/tourist taxes

VAT is included.  Service charge is included.  EUR 1.50 city/tourist tax per person per night is not included. 

Meal Plan

Buffet breakfast is included in the room rate. 

Children and Extra Bed Policy

All children are welcome.  All children under 3 years stay free of charge when using existing bedding.  All children under 3 years stay free of charge for extra beds.  All children from 4 to 16 years are charged 50 % of the room stay per night and person for extra beds.  One older child or adult is charged EUR 50.00 per night and person in an extra bed.  One child under 3 years stays free of charge in a baby cot.  Maximum capacity of extra beds/babycots in a room is 1.
