Area information

Bad Goisern is a beautiful resort in the Salzkammergut, at about 600 metres above sea level. The world-famous imperial city of Bad Ischl is located 10 km away, and in the immediate vicinity you can find the Dachstein Region UNESCO World Heritage Site, with the picturesque town of Hallstatt on the shores of Lake Hallstatt at its centre. Lake Wolfgang is about 20 km away. Numerous excursions and leisure activities are available in Bad Goisern and its immediate vicinity.

Travel information

The closest airport is Salzburg, about 50 km away. We also offer a transfer from Salzburg Airport at an extra fee. With the train, you travel to the station at Bad Goisern - we are happy to pick you up from there.

Hotel policies

Cancellation Policy

If cancelled up to 7 days before date of arrival, no fee will be charged.  If cancelled later or in case of no-show, the total price of the reservation will be charged. 

Deposit Policy

No deposit will be charged. 

VAT and city/tourist taxes

10 % VAT is included.  Service charge is not applicable.  EUR 1.30 city/tourist tax per person per night is not included. 

Meal Plan

Buffet breakfast is included in the room rate.  Half board costs EUR 18.00 per person. 

Children and Extra Bed Policy

All children are welcome.  All children under 4 years stay free of charge when using existing bedding.  All children under 2 years stay free of charge for cots.  All children from 5 to 12 years are charged EUR 22.50 per night and person for extra beds.  Maximum capacity of extra beds/babycots in a room is 2.
