From 12:00 until 14:00, the cosy restaurant offers a daily lunch featuring freshly prepared, traditional dishes and imaginative, seasonal creations. From 18:00 until 22:00, you can look forward to the rich dinner menu which features regional specialities such as local venison, trout and steaks. The delicious homemade cakes, gateaux and caramel custard are particularly popular with guests. Enjoy freshly pulled beer and non-alcoholic drinks in the cheerful beer garden or bar.

Please note that the hotel reception is closed on Tuesdays. On this day, check-in is only possible by prior arrangement.

Nearby attractions include the observation tower, watermill, and famous dinosaur footprints. Visit the classic car museum and observatory in Melle, and discover the archaeological site of the famous Varus battle (between Arminius and the Romans). Explore the old diocesan town of Osnabrück with its beautiful churches and interesting museums. The Osnabrück Zoo is always worth a visit. The cloth-making museum in Bramsche is also only 30 km away. Sport and leisure activities in Bad Essen include hiking, cycling, golf, swimming, mountain-biking, and tennis. Hotel policies

Cancellation Policy

If cancelled or modified up to 18:00 on the date of arrival, no fee will be charged.  If cancelled or modified later or in case of no-show, 80 percent of all nights will be charged. 

Deposit Policy

No deposit will be charged. 

VAT and city/tourist taxes

19 % VAT is included.  Service charge is not applicable.  EUR 0.65 city/tourist tax per person per night is not included. 

Meal Plan

Breakfast is included in the room rate. 

Children and Extra Bed Policy

All children are welcome.  All children under 3 years stay free of charge when using existing bedding.  All children under 3 years stay free of charge for cots.  All children under 12 years are charged 50 % of the room stay per night and person for extra beds.  Maximum capacity of extra beds/babycots in a room is 1.
