Rooms

The rooms are all easily accessible on foot or by lift. All rooms feature an en suite bathroom with shower/bath as well as a TV. Most of the rooms feature a balcony where you can enjoy the open view over the idyllic countryside, with the Ölschnitz River, the castle ruins and the picturesque town of Bad Berneck. The rooms without a balcony look out on the mountain. Smoking is not permitted in the rooms, but only on the balconies.

After your fine exertions, let yourself be pampered with a spa treatment or a massage here in the hotel. The hotel manageress administers a warm hayflower sack, giving you a sense of well-being. Half board is available in the Marktplatzstüberl restaurant directly opposite the hotel. This restaurant has received a special recommendation in the Michelin Guide. Hotel policies

Cancellation Policy

If cancelled or modified up to 18:00 on the date of arrival, no fee will be charged.  If cancelled or modified later, 80 percent of the first night will be charged.  In case of no-show, 80 percent of all nights will be charged. 

Deposit Policy

No deposit will be charged. 

VAT and city/tourist taxes

19 % VAT is included.  Service charge is not applicable.  EUR 1.00 city/tourist tax per person per night is included. 

Meal Plan

Buffet breakfast costs EUR 8.00 per person. 

Children and Extra Bed Policy

All children are welcome.  All children under 6 years stay free of charge when using existing bedding.  All children under 2 years are charged EUR 5.00 per night and person for cots.  There is no capacity for extra beds in the room.  Maximum capacity of babycots in a room is 1.
