Hotel Locanda Dei Mai InteesOriginally the Locanda was a small 15th century medieval settlement, very much appreciated, complete with square, post office, chemist’s shop and a grain storehouse. Visitors appreciate the hotel matches the picturesque medieval ambiance of Azzate, valued throughout, overlooking Lake Varese with a magnificent view of Monte Rosa Massif and the foothills of the Lombard Alps. The Locanda offers comfortable accommodation in a unique period atmosphere. The establishment was later transformed into a single country estate by the chemist himself, and above all, of whom the current owners are descendants. Enjoy the exquisite gastronomic experience offered at the the hotel, very much appreciated, in its family managed restaurant run by the owner’s son, apprentice of master chef Gualtiero Marchesi. All the rooms are furnished with refined taste and originality.

Hotel policies

Cancellation Policy

If cancelled up to 2 days before date of arrival, no fee will be charged.  If cancelled later, the first night will be charged.  In case of no-show, the total price of the reservation will be charged. 

Deposit Policy

No deposit will be charged. 

VAT and city/tourist taxes

10 % VAT is included.  Service charge is not applicable.  City/tourist tax is not applicable. 

Meal Plan

Continental breakfast is included in the room rate. 

Children and Extra Bed Policy

All children are welcome.  All children under 1 year stay free of charge when using existing bedding.  All children under 2 years are charged EUR 30.00 per night and person for cots.  All older children or adults are charged EUR 45.00 per night and person for extra beds.  Maximum capacity of extra beds/babycots in a room is 2.
