This family-run hotel provides a fusion of historic surroundings and modern comforts, complemented by friendly, efficient staff. Rated one of the top 30 courses in Ireland by Golf Digest, the Glasson Golf Course was designed by Ryder Cup star, Christy O’Connor Jnr. Whether you are a novice or a pro, there is a tee to suit you. With breathtaking views over Killenure Bay, the course plays up to 7,215 yards from the back of the championship tees. Glasson Golf course has hosted a number of regional and international championship finals, including the European Challenge Tour in August 2007 and the 2008 Challenge of Ireland in 2008. The course is complemented by a relaxing club house. Meeting rooms are available for 10-200 people, depending on the room and layout. Reduced green fees are available to meeting attendees on request. Fitness equipment is available on site. You can also hire a bike to explore the wonderful countryside around the hotel.

Food & Beverages

Start your day with a hearty breakfast before heading out for a round of golf or scenic country walk. During the day you can enjoy light snacks by the warm log stove in the Lakeview Café & Bar. Each evening, take in the stunning views of Killinure Bay from the Lakeside Restaurant, which serves a menu based on fresh local produce.

Cancellation Policy

If cancelled up to 2 days before date of arrival, no fee will be charged.  If cancelled later or in case of no-show, the first night will be charged. 

Deposit Policy

No deposit will be charged. 

VAT and city/tourist taxes

21.5 % VAT is included.  Service charge is not applicable.  City/tourist tax is not applicable. 

Meal Plan

Buffet breakfast is included in the room rate. 

Children and Extra Bed Policy

All children are welcome.  All children under 5 years stay free of charge when using existing bedding.  All children under 2 years stay free of charge for cots.  Maximum capacity of babycots in a room is 2.
