All of our 37 rooms were recently renovated in spring 2006.

Hotel details

The hotel and restaurant were originally built in 1909 as a business and residence building with shops and apartments. In 1929, a newly founded cooperative responsible for municipal parlors and houses purchased the whole realty, converted it and named it Orelli house - after the founder of the Zurich Women's Club, Dr. h.c. Susanna Orelli (1845 - 1939) who had laid the cornerstone for this successful enterprise.

Food & Beverages

The restaurant Orelli was named after the founder of the ZFV group and convinces with simple elegance, a breathtaking view and traditional Swiss cuisine with modern variations. It is very important to us to prepare our culinary delicacies with local and fresh products. The Old India Bar - where Thomas Mann is known to have enjoyed his tea - invites you to an exquisite glass of wine, a fruity cocktail or the best espresso of Arosa in a stylish atmosphere. For a snack in-between, we offer delicacies such as crostinis, fried king prawns or our legendary club sandwich. Enjoy a few hours alone, as a twosome or with friends in a comfortable atmosphere!

Internet

Wireless Internet Hotspot is available in public areas and charges are applicable.  Wired internet is available in public areas and is free of charge. 

Parking

Public parking is possible at a location nearby (reservation is not possible) and charges may be applicable. 

Pets

Pets are allowed. Charges may be applicable.

Hotel policies

Cancellation Policy

If cancelled up to 2 days before date of arrival, no fee will be charged.  If cancelled later, the first night will be charged.  In case of no-show, the total price of the reservation will be charged. 

Deposit Policy

No deposit will be charged. 

VAT and city/tourist taxes

3.6 % VAT is included.  Service charge is not applicable.  City/tourist tax is included. 

Meal Plan

Breakfast is included in the room rate.  Dinner costs CHF 30.00 per person. 

Children and Extra Bed Policy

All children are welcome.  All children under 4 years stay free of charge when using existing bedding.  All children under 2 years stay free of charge for cots.  All older children or adults are charged CHF 75.00 per night and person for extra beds.  There is no capacity for extra beds/cots in the room.
