The German Hiking Association has officially classified the Berghotel Friedrichshöhe as a hiking hotel. The hotel’s services include guided tours, special hiking weeks, tour advice, deliveries to and from destinations, luggage transport and lunch packs.

Food & Beverages

Start your day with a generous buffet breakfast in the friendly breakfast room. In the evening, enjoy a glass of Saxonian wine near the chimney in the hotel foyer or in the hotel bar. The hotel restaurant serves traditional Saxonian cuisine and a wide range of international delights. It can seat up to 36 guests.

Wireless internet is available in public areas and is free of charge.

Free private parking is possible on site.

Pets are allowed. Charges may be applicable.

Hotel policies

Cancellation Policy

If cancelled or modified up to 18:00 on the date of arrival, no fee will be charged.  If cancelled or modified later or in case of no-show, 80 percent of all nights will be charged. 

Deposit Policy

No deposit will be charged. 

VAT and city/tourist taxes

19 % VAT is included.  Service charge is not applicable.  EUR 1.50 city/tourist tax per person per night is not included. 

Meal Plan

Buffet breakfast is included in the room rate. 

Children and Extra Bed Policy

All children are welcome.  All children under 6 years stay free of charge when using existing bedding.  All children under 2 years stay free of charge for cots.  All older children or adults are charged EUR 13.50 per night and person for extra beds.  All older children or adults are charged EUR 23.50 per night for extra beds.  Maximum capacity of extra beds/babycots in a room is 2.
