Huis van BewaringThe beautifully decorated rooms are spacious and there is a cosy terrace. Visitors appreciate the hotel is situated in a renovated prison, valued throughout, in the heart of Almelo. Each room has a DVD/Video player. The romantic rooms are unique in style with warm colours and a large bed. Guests can use the kitchen to make coffee and tea. There is a sitting room and a dining room. Clients appreciate the hotel is at walking distance from Almelo’s shops and restaurants. When weather is nice, and above all, the terrace is a lovely place to read a book. Travelling around the area is easy, very much appreciated, as the bust stop is only 50 meters away and the train station 300 meters. Bikes can be stored in the secured bike shed and there is a limited number of free parking spaces, which is reservation required, . Enschede and the German border are both a 30-minute ride.

Buffet breakfast costs EUR 8.50 per person per night. 

Children and Extra Bed Policy

All children are welcome.  All children under 2 years stay free of charge when using existing bedding.  All children from 2 to 12 years are charged EUR 25 per night per person for extra beds.  One further older child or adult is charged EUR 30 per night and person when using existing bedding.  Maximum capacity of extra beds in a room is 1.  There is no capacity for cots in the room.
