Visitors appreciate the hotel enjoys a beautiful mountain setting with stunning panoramic views directly on the slopes of Carinthia’s Verditz mountain. Most rooms have a balcony. All the rooms at the the hotel are traditionally furnished with a modern touch. High chairs, very much appreciated, baby monitors and the like are also available. Facilities also include a games room with billiard table, valued throughout, a terrace with outdoor seating, a ski room and a children’s playroom. The well-known Carinthian ski resorts of Bad Kleinkirchheim and Gerlitzen are only 20 minutes away. A wide range of activities is available nearby in every season, and above all, from skiing to swimming, Nordic walking to paragliding, fishing to mountain biking, and sailing to ice-skating. The famous ski areas of Tarvisio in Italy and Kranjska Gora in Slovenia can be reached in 45 minutes.

Travel information

Transfers from the airports at Klagenfurt, Salzburg, Ljubljana, Trieste and Venice can be arranged at an extra cost. By public transport: Take a train to Villach. The main bus station is just opposite the train station. Take bus no. 5150 (destination Radenthein) to the Verditz Bergbahnen (about a 20-minute drive). You can then take the chairlift up to lift station 3 (you will pass by the hotel on your way up) and walk approx. 150 metres back down to the hotel. Alternatively, transfers can be arranged (at an extra cost) from Villach-Hauptbahnhof or the Verditz Bergbahnen. Please note that the chairlift only operates during the summer and winter seasons, when it opens at 09:00/09:45 and closes at 16:00/17:00. Please contact the hotel for more information or alternative arrangements if necessary.

Hotel policies

Cancellation Policy

If cancelled up to 2 days before date of arrival, no fee will be charged.  If cancelled later, the first night will be charged.  In case of no-show, the total price of the reservation will be charged. 

Deposit Policy

No deposit will be charged. 

VAT and city/tourist taxes

10 % VAT is included.  Service charge is not applicable.  City/tourist tax is included. 

Meal Plan

Buffet breakfast is included in the room rate. 

Children and Extra Bed Policy

All children are welcome.  All children under 6 years are charged EUR 5.00 per night and person for extra beds.  All children from 6 to 11 years are charged 50 % of the room stay per night and person for extra beds.  All children from 12 to 15 years are charged 75 % of the room stay per night and person for extra beds.  All older children or adults are charged 100 % of the room stay per night and person for extra beds.  Maximum capacity of extra beds/babycots in a room is 2.  Maximum capacity of babycots in a room is 1.
