Eduardo VII Park The park’s gardens cover an area from the beginning of a hill to the roundabout Marquês de Pombal, without losing sight from river Tejo and from the Avenida de Liberdade. Avenida da Liberdade The opening of Avenida da Liberdade, in the first half of the 19th century allowed the city’s expansion to the North. Enjoy the sunny afternoons that the weekend has to offer. And let yourself go, through the Avenue, to downtown. Modern Art Centre Azeredo Perdigão Situated in a modern building, in one of the Gulbenkian’s garden edge, the museum is dedicated to the 20th century art, including paintings, sculptures, drawings, engravings and photography, with collections by some of the most expressive artists of the last century. Travel information Lisbon is very well served by all means of transportation. There is a free Bus Shuttle leaving from the Airport - Bus nº 91. You will need your airline boarding ticket. The bus will stop Av. da República. Taxis are always available in the Airport. The fare will cost around 15 euros. At least 3 regular buses, departing from the airport will get you next to the Hotel. Turn right, Follow Avenida Dos Combatentes for 700 m and turn right, Follow Avenida Calouste Gulbenkian for 150 m. Turn left, Follow Praça De Espanha for 220 m, follow Avenida António Augusto De Aguiar for 330 m and turn left, Follow Rua Marquês Da Fronteira for 170 m. Follow Avenida Duque De Ávila for 180 m.
