Rooms

All the rooms at Claridge Hotel are furnished in the very personal style of the French King Louis XV, partly with oriental rugs and antiques, all with in-room shopping. They are all equipped with an own computer workstation with office software and free high-speed internet cable access and individually adjustable air conditioning. All bathrooms were renovated and most have marble tiles and windows.

Formerly a manor, built in 1835 and renovated in 2002, the Claridge Hotel Zurich still has the comfortable serenity of an affluent and well-run private house, settled in flowery gardens on a quiet residential street near the Kunsthaus (Museum of Fine Arts). Its 35 spacious rooms and suites combine Louis XV style, oriental rugs and antiques with all modern amenities that range from hairdryers, air conditioning in every room and its own computer workstation with office software and free highspeed internet cable access. Highspeed W'LAN (with costs) everywhere on the premises The main restaurant Orson's is famous for its fusion of local and international/Mediterranean specialities and extends in summer outdoors under the shadowy trees. The Bistro ACE features Swiss cooking. Personal care and service in this charming and homey place is one of the hotel's hallmarks. The hotel has is own car park and lift. The hotel also offers business services. The hotel can arrange Sailing School and Boat Hire, Hairdresser and Beauty Salon, Riding School an Hire of Horses and a Water Ski School. Massage in the hotel rooms is available upon request.

Food & Beverages

The restaurant Orson's Lounge&Bar and the restaurant ACE serve international cuisine with fresh, seasonal products, sourced where possible from local producers and suppliers. At lunchtime both restaurants serve 3-course business lunches, which change every day, and a selection of the days recommendations. In the evening the Orson's offers a unique dinner, while the smaller restaurant ACE serves refined Swiss specialities. Both restaurants offer a wide range of classic and rare wines from the hotel's own wine cellar. The restaurants, the lounge and the bar were designed by famous Zurich architect Pia Schmid.

Internet

Wired internet is available in the hotel rooms and is free of charge.  Wireless internet is available in the hotel rooms and charges are applicable. 

Parking

Private parking is possible on site and costs CHF 25.00 per day.

Pets are allowed. Charges may be applicable.

Cancellation Policy

If cancelled up to 1 day before the date of arrival, no fee will be charged.  If cancelled later or in case of no-show, the first night will be charged. 

Deposit Policy

No deposit will be charged. 

VAT and city/tourist taxes

3.6 % VAT is included.  Service charge is not applicable.  CHF 2.50 city/tourist tax per person per night is not included. 

Meal Plan

Continental breakfast costs CHF 13.80 per person.  Full English breakfast costs CHF 28.00 per person. 

Children and Extra Bed Policy

All children are welcome.  All children under 6 years stay free of charge when using existing bedding.  All children under 2 years stay free of charge for cots.  All older children or adults are charged CHF 80.00 per night and person for extra beds.  Maximum capacity of extra beds/babycots in a room is 1. 

Groups

When booking more than 6 rooms, different policies and additional supplements may apply. 

Please note that in case specific policies apply to a particular room or rate, the specific room/rate policy prevails over the general hotel policy
