Eight historic townhouses. In a quarter with an illustrious past. The Widder Hotel is located in the middle of the Augustiner Quarter named after an Augustinian monastery that was built in the 13th century but no longer exists. The historic townhouses which accommodate the Widder Hotel are national monuments. They were carefully restored between 1990 and 1995. Please note that pets are not allowed in the Breakfast Room neither in the Restaurant.

Food & Beverages

At an additional cost, breakfast can also be served to your room.

The hotel has facilities for disabled guests (adequate rooms).

Internet

Wireless internet is available in the entire hotel and costs CHF 10.00 per 24 hours. 

Parking

Private parking is possible on site (reservation is needed) and costs CHF 35.00 per day.

Pets are allowed on request. Charges may be applicable.

Hotel policies

Cancellation Policy

If cancelled up to 1 day before the date of arrival, no fee will be charged.  If cancelled later or in case of no-show, the first night will be charged. 

Deposit Policy

No deposit will be charged. 

VAT and city/tourist taxes

3.6 % VAT is included.  Service charge is not applicable.  CHF 2.50 city/tourist tax per person per night is not included. 

Meal Plan

Breakfast is not included, breakfast menu is available and costs vary. 

Children and Extra Bed Policy

All children are welcome.  All children under 3 years stay free of charge for cots.  All children under 6 years stay free of charge for extra beds.  All older children or adults are charged CHF 120.00 per night and person for extra beds.  Maximum capacity of extra beds/babycots in a room is 2.
