Food & Beverages

The Castell’s kitchen is fresh, innovative, and has been honoured by receiving 13 Gault Millau points. You can dine under the splendid stucco ceiling of the historic dining room or at lunch on Tadashi Kawamata’s panoramic wooden terrace, a brasserie with a hint of Asia.

Internet

Internet via modem is available in the hotel rooms and is free of charge.  Wireless Internet Hotspot is available in some hotel rooms and charges are applicable. 

Parking

Private parking is possible on site (reservation is needed) and costs CHF 12.00 per day.  Free public parking is possible on site. 

Pets

Pets are allowed. Charges may be applicable.

Hotel policies

Cancellation Policy

If cancelled up to 15 days before date of arrival, no fee will be charged.  If cancelled later, the first three nights will be charged.  In case of no-show, the first three nights will be charged. 

Deposit Policy

No deposit will be charged. 

VAT and city/tourist taxes

VAT is included.  Service charge is included.  CHF 2.70 city/tourist tax per person per night is not included. 

Meal Plan

Buffet breakfast is included in the room rate. 

Children and Extra Bed Policy

All children are welcome.  All children under 6 years stay free of charge when using existing bedding.  All children under 2 years stay free of charge for cots.  All older children or adults are charged CHF 90.00 per night and person for extra beds.  Maximum capacity of extra beds/babycots in a room is 1.
