Food & Beverages

We recommend the Schönegg Bar to start an unforgettable evening. Also popular for après skiing in winter. With music wine and snacks the day will find its relaxing end.. Right in front of the bar, you´ll find the panoramic terrace with its breathtaking view of the Matterhorn and over the roofs of Zermatt. Lunch is served from our small card. In our dinning room, breakfast and the 5 course half board dinner is served. Outstanding cuisine for Gourmets!. In our Gourmetstübli, gourmets will find culinary highlights combined with wines from all over the world: the crus classes one side - local producers on the other.. Be inspired by some creations from our chefs. Opening times of the Gourmetstübli: Daily in the evening, except Wednesdays Winter: from Christmas until Easter Summer: early July until mid September

Cancellation Policy

If cancelled up to 14 days before date of arrival, no fee will be charged.  If cancelled up to 7 days before date of arrival, 50 percent of all nights will be charged.  If cancelled later or in case of no-show, the total price of the reservation will be charged. 

Deposit Policy

No deposit will be charged. 

VAT and city/tourist taxes

3.6 % VAT is included.  Service charge is not applicable.  CHF 2.10 city/tourist tax per person per night is included. 

Meal Plan

Buffet breakfast is included in the room rate. 

Children and Extra Bed Policy

All children are welcome.  All children under 4 years stay free of charge when using existing bedding.  One child from 5 to 11 years is charged 50 % of the room stay per night in an extra bed.  One child from 12 to 16 years is charged 70 % of the room stay per night in an extra bed.  Maximum capacity of extra beds/babycots in a room is 1.

When booking more than 6 rooms, different policies and additional supplements may apply.
