Today Hotel Zarautz, very much appreciated, has been reformed completely in 1993, and it offers a pleasant service. The Hotel Zarauz, valued throughout, was built in 1945, it is situated in a lordly character villa, chosen, during several decades, as summer residence by very important people. As it is well communicated by the 3 Basque capitals, and above all, it is a suitable place to do excursions and cultural visits guided by the Basque Country.

The Restaurant Santa Barbara, with capacity for 200 people, offers a quality service in a pleasant ambient. Special menus for children, children highchair on request. We have 2 kinds of menus: Menu of the day and special menu Category: 2 forks Breakfast: The hotel has a buffet breakfast of coffee, tea, pastries, fruit, milk, yoghurt, cereals, bread, different kind of juices, fruit salad, fried eggs, sausages … all of them fresh and top quality products

Area information Zarautz has a natural environment for the practice of different sports: Trekking: Routes of more or less difficulty , with good views. Golf: The Royal Club of Golf is situated at the east of the beach, between the sea and the marsh, It has 9 holes and a surface of 165.000 m2 . Surf: there are several schools in the village to learn this sport. Paragliding: The hillsides of Talaiamendi are suitable for that. Frontón: Ball games to hand are disputed in many villages of Guipuzcoa. Diving: in the Basque littoral. Travel information Zarautz is placed on the Basque Coast in the north of Spain , to 40 km from France (20 minutes for highway), to 15 km to San Sebastian , and to 80 km to Bilbao.

All older children or adults are charged EUR 15.00 per night and person for extra beds. Maximum capacity of extra beds/babycots in a room is 1.
